I have both and I would get a male, Lexie & Bear are the cat chasers and play with the cats all the time...My boys get along better with them then my girl cat, she has always been very to say the least the B word to everyone but me, but she does have her moments with me...I would have him neutered if you get a male very young, no marking.....good luck....
