UPDATE, Lexi does seem to being feeling better today but, the black mass is going to have to be surgically removed. I spoke to a surgeon this afternoon and he will see her tomorrow and her surgery will be Tues morning. He is confident the incision will only be about an inch long and that she will not be in to muck pain after. (like I was originally told) After the surgery she will have to stay in the hospital till Fri or Sat on the IV antibiotic and then when she comes home she will take an oral antibiotic for 6 weeks.
I want to thank you all so much, and I am confident that your prayers helped my baby pull through this. Once she is healed up from surgery they are going to do another skin allergy test (this test totally sucks and it will be her 3rd one) She has also started a new shot that really seems to be helping with her itchies.
Again I thank each and everyone of you for your prayers and hugs and of course all the puppy kisses. Now to just get through surgery... |
