I have 2 books about Yorkies; New Owners Guide to Yorkshire Terriers - by Janet Jackson and The Complete Yorkshire Terrier - by Joan B. Gordon. The first book is okay for beginning owners - which is what it was meant to be.
The book by Joan Gordon is the one I refer to more though. It is like my "yorkie bible", with the best material on the history of the breed. It is an older copy but all of the information is still relevant and hasn't changed much over the years.
