 Family :/
So this weekend Howie and I went to visit my parents. My mom proceeded to call herself the dog whisperer and say that Howie "talks to her." Weird, right?? Well, then she goes on to tell me that Howie "told" her that he's lonely, a nervous wreck, and wants to go outside more. You should have seen the look on my face. I mean, how do you even respond to that. Then I asked her if that was HER opinion and she said no, that it's what Howie said to her. Her saying wacko stuff like that makes me feel really uncomfortable. I went on to tell her that and also that if Howie appears hyper or nervous it's the breed and that we go outside twice a day. Her response? I swear she said, "Howie lied to me! He didn't say you went outside that often!" And my mom isn't old enough for me to start blaming this on old age or any type of disorder! This isn't the first time she has claimed that Howie talks to her. How do I respond to this the next time??? |
