Yes they do ..my groomer told me to get the 2 speed .
I watch her when she was shaving a poodle and it cuts through the hair like butter.
I thought I'd try the Andis Pet Pro ($59.00) which is a one speed ..
I thought I'd practice on it and get the better one later on.
My old yorkie has a woolly coat and I had trouble getting through it.
I did the snorkie cut on her and she and I were both wore out by the time it was done.
It just doesn't have the punch that the 2 speed does.
I also read alot of groomer reviews and they all rave about it.

I took that one back and had them to order the AGC Super 2-speed ($129.00)
It came with the # 10 blade and a big bottle of oil.
I also got the Andis Kool care plus ($5.49) to cool the blade.. it also disinfects the clippers.
You will need to clip a clean dog to keep the blade from getting dull to fast from dirt, sand and grit.
And it never hurts to get an extra blade to use while the other one is getting sharpen.

My groomer told me If you shave them down..you will need a 7-F blade for a finished look.
You can use other blades by oster,wahls,..etc on Andis clippers.
Also comb attachment too..I have seen them run about $10.00.

Watch out when you stand them up to shave the belly and under side area..
She said under the arm pits and the at the crook of the upper thigh is the two place you can nick or cut them.
Also
Use care if using a sissors to clip any stray hairs around the nose area...
She has seen a few dog working as a groomer that had their tongue's cut...
if they happen to lick at the same time the sissors are closing.
Any ways happy clipping everyone....
