My dogs sometimes tear up their pads also. Whenever I'm not holding them, they get maad so they decide to get attention by ripping their pads up! I saw a post before about eating poo. If you give them cheap dog food, then they think that their poo is similar to their food so they eat it because theire hungry. It sounds ridiculous but it might be true. I'm not sure what food you ARE feeding them though. Hope I didn't offend you guys.
