I dont think kizzys breeder ever cut hers as she was only 6 weeks when i got her and hubby wonders if she was even that old, she didnt have one tooth in her mouth when we got her. He says hes never heard of a dog being weaned and no teeth at 6 weeks old.
I got my Brandy at 6 weeks and she had all her teeth.

As far as clipping nails - as a dog groomer let me tell you that yorkies are frequently terrible on their nails. Seriously, I clip dogs nails every day and I can't do Brandy's nails myself. The last time I needed to do them I had her at work and after struggling to get three feet done I asked my boss to do the last foot (my boss can get even the worst dog's nails done) and it took her a full 5 minutes to do that one foot. I can do Titan's but it's still not pretty. I know Brandy's never had a nail bled so she has no reason to be so bad about it. I have had a couple successes with distracting her with peanut butter spread on the counter. All I can say is anyone with a young puppy start clipping them now and do it frequently. When Brandy was a puppy I clipped them a couple times with no problem and then forgot for a couple months and next time I clipped them she was a nightmare and has never been good about it again.
