As for obedience, I do all the obedience myself. I use only positive reinforcement. I start socializing pups right away, socializing is one of the most important things for your puppy. I also crate train my pups. It is the easiest, fastiest and most successful way to housebreak your puppy.

Good luck on finding your puppy!!!
Thank you for your input,if I find the proper breeder I'll be sure to keep that in mind. What do you think about a pen though?would that work as well as a crate?I ask because if I do get a pup from my Aunt it would be during the end of the school year.My Mother would be helping but of course she has things to take care of herself. So would it be alright to leave them in a decent sized pen with a bed and toys, etc. or is a smaller size space better?
