Now you can see her face so much better, she looks soo cute! I am wondering if that is something that is commonly done to yorkies? I see pictures of other yorkies and it doesn't seem like it. Usually the hair just parts down the middle of the nose. Anyway, she looks great now but I am wondering what is going to happen when it starts growing back? It is a great thing now because her eyes have discharge sometimes and it was difficult to clean around her eyes because it got stuck in all the hair and now her face is so much cleaner. But like I said, I don't know what will happen when it starts growing back...has anyone else had this done to their yorkie?
I personally never trim the hair around the eyes and nose. Rather I am showing them or they are just my pets. But alot of yorkie owners do have the hair around their eyes trimmed and it is completely up to you. It does make it difficult for the puppy to see when the hair under the eyes and on the top of the nose is growing out. I sometimes use alittle bit of neutragena body oil (you can also use Wal-Mart's brand) and put just a tiny bit under the eyes and on top of the nose to keep the hair out of their eyes while it is growing out. Just make sure you do not get it to close to the eyes.
