It's entirely up to you! There are some members on here with pups who have the area between their eyes shaved or clipped right down - it's good because it keeps hair out of their eyes and helps to prevent eye tearing. The breeder did this to Ruthie before I got her - and it's such a pain to grow out! I am opting to grow it out because keeping it short requires so much more maintenance and I wouldn't trust myself to do it (I'd be afraid of hurting her) - I want to do the majority of grooming myself (trip to the groomers on occasion maybe) so growing it out is just easier for me.

You're right though, it is nice to be able to see those sparkly eyes without a mess of hair in front of them!
