interesting you would bring this up, what is the difference advertizing here or placing your puppies available for placement on a website? I heard from a friend just today that a show breeder had adimently stated its unethical to post puppies for sale even on a YTCA's members own website. Whats up with that?

the YTCA code of ethics merely states:
9) A member’s advertising:
- shall be professional in appearance and location;
- shall not refer to YTCA membership to attempt to enhance integrity or the quality of stock;
- shall not contain any misleading photograph or other graphic materials; and
- shall not use terms as “teacup”, “tiny specialists”, doll faced, or similar terminology.

There are many show breeders that are members here and merely because of this thread it is rumored she is now blacklisted! The YTCA yorkie police at their best!

perhaps they should read again their own mission statement:

A member shall not defame another member nor seek to impair a member’s reputation, provided, however, a member shall report any serious situation that is detrimental to the breed or is inconsistent with these principles.
