My advice to you would be to add another yorkie, your baby is obviously very lonely, and needs someone to keep him company.
You will feel less guilty for leaving when you know they have each other.
Yorkies are social, so i am pretty sure you will be doing all of you a huge favour if you get him a friend!!

I'm not at all familiar with daycare, so i can't advise you on that, but there are ladies on this board that do take their babies to daycare while they working.
