I am wanting to learn myself. I found this website on how to dock the tails, it is for cockers but has the same way of doing it. Except it says not to do it on puppies older than two days and I was told it was you can still do it after two days, anywhere from 3 to 5 days old. I just need to know how short to cut the tails. If you have any questions, I would ask Pat, yorkierose, she docks the tails and removes the dewclaws herself and has being doing it for awhile.
