Im going crazy. I crate trained Daisy or so i thought. When she was in the crate she never went potty in there, so at about 8/9 months old i decided she was doing so good that i would take the crate away from her and let her have the downstairs. I'm a sucker i felt bad that she had to stay in there
i work all day so my dad goes there at lunch time (11-12 EST) and lets her run around and she goes potty. she's had some accidents, which i know happen so i put a pee pee pad down in the bathroom (where her accidents are) but it seems she's having accidents more often. Yesterday i went home from work and she pee'd and pooped in my laundry basket of clean clothes (yes its my fault for leaving it on the floor). So i'm thinking maybe i took her out the crate way too soon
should i re-crate train her (she was a year old in July)? Do i try to put a litterbox with fake grass? If we're home she goes right to the door and barks to go if the door isnt open. Thanks for your help!
