In some way I think it would make more sense when talking about the conformation of the structure. I would rather know that my yorkie is such and such measurment away from perfection (a score on a scale?).
How can I make this clear?? Umm..dog shows are judged by the OPINION of a judge and HIS INTERPRETATION of the standard. If there was an actual formula (regarding structure) that gave a number to how well a dog correlated to the standard then it is would be less of a judges opinion and more accurate. More technical and less subjective (regarding structure). Opinion would play a part in judging of temperment, movement and coat...
