She is piddle-pad trained and will also go outside, so yes - housebroken.

I will be out at work during the day, so will use the same pads as her present owner. This is why I wanted an adult dog - I have read that it is very difficult to housetrain a dog when you work all day. I like the idea of her being able to go out or NOT (for example, in bad weather).
