I'm lucky with my vet too. She's awesome. (well, THEY are awesome) There are 4 vets in the office, but we usually use just one (i'm embarrased that I can't remember her name). I love her though. When Princess died, she sent us a condolence card that made me cry. She's very thoughtful. But like you said, she only charges for what you get. No hidden fees, or visit fees. When we got Dixie she had Kennel Cough, and we paid for our meds, exam fee, and x-ray. We were glad too, it was expencive as it was without the $75 visit fee the vet down the road would've charged.
