Had the same experience over 20 years ago ... didn't know "squat" and bought a supposedly "teacup" poodle for my daughter in Birmingham, AL at a pet store! After all was said and done, it was an employee selling her own dogs when the owner was out ... the poodle wound up weighing 14 lbs.! However, we had 13 wonderful years with her and loved her so very much! I wouldn't concern myself about the heritage of handsome Mr. Ranger! He's adorable!!
