 I'm new here, too!
I have visited this site a few times and have found some interesting tips and advice. I have a yorkipoo (yorki poodle mix). I love her to pieces.
I see that the potty training problems are pretty common in yorkies. I am having a much easier time at the moment thanks to the advice of the people on this board. She won't go in her cage (which is way too big, but she HATED the small one), she won't go on the kitchen floor (where I keep her during the day), she WAS using potty pads in the rest of the house that is carpeted, and she does go outside. For some reason she ignores her puppy pads now and will just go on the carpet. I have to get over that hurdle, lol.
