How much does a yorkie normally eat in a day? Does it depend on what kind of food you feed them? I feed my dog Royal Canin for puppies. Will they typically stop eating when they are full or will they just eat until they are sick?
The reason I ask is because my puppy has gained maybe a pound in the last week. I have a great dane also. They have been eating out of the same bowl until last week. So I think the dane has been getting most of the food. I started putting Duke

eats. I think maybe he is just eating a normal amount now, but I am not really sure what a normal amount is for him. On the back of the food bag it has a scale for how much they should eat. The problem is that the size only goes down to 5lbs and Butters weights 2lbs. For 2lbs they should be eating 1/2 cup per day which doesn't seem like very much. If I cut it down to 2lbs he would hardly be getting anything to eat. What should I do?
