 Doggie had cataract surgery today - Vet said it went great.
Well, I decided to go ahead with the surgery, and they did it today. They said it went extremely well, and now comes the next challenge - two weeks with her head in a cone, several eyedrops and some pills, hoping there won't be complications from the surgery or her diabetes, etc. Daisy is sitting or sleeping quietly now, still drowsy from anethesia and confused about the cone, but she can see already! It's a challenge to figure out how to feed her and give her water with the cone. Onward and upward, though. If it turns out well I will be very glad I did it. It's already great to see her looking at things - she seems amazed. Or maybe just dingy from the surgery. |
