All three of my Yorkies have licked our hands feets, face etc. We were told it could be the salt, but I am not sure.
We have just accepted it as part of their character.

I can understand some may find it annoying after a time.

We distract them after a while with a toy and a game and that usually works.

As to why they do it .. who knows .... anyone ??????
