Get something that smells like Puss, (a shirt, or a toy) and let her be with it. It will soothe her. When I went to Florida for a week, my mom had a pretty hard time with Dixie. She would cry, and scratch on my door to get in my room, and when she'd let her in my room she'd scratch my covers, and whine sniffing around for me. She was SO excited when I finally got home! (as was I) but what happened was my mom got a t-shirt of mine, and layed it on the bed with her and my dad, and she'd sleep in bed with them.
