I am sorry to hear this news. My yorkie ran thu the woods and scaratched his eye with a branch or briar. He ended up with a melting ulcer.I took him to a specialist and he did a great job, he said there may be a small gray scar but there ended up being no scar at all, a slight dent in the cornea if you look at him from the side, thats all. no one looking at him straight on can see any scar at all. Usually the ulcer heals with antibiotic drops and no problems but that is the worst case scenario. I am sure your yorkie will be fine but you are doing the right thing taking her to a specialist early on. Good luck with it!!
