Mine all love all dogs, small or big. They just love everyone and have no problems playing with the big dogs. They have no fear of big dogs as they are socialized around them starting when they are young. The big dogs they have met know that they have to be careful with them because they are so much smaller. The only thing I have to keep an eye on is when they are running. Mine love love to run and will get the big dogs to chase them. I just have to watch them to make sure the big dogs don't trip over them and hurt them while they run after them. My mom's border collie is 60+ pounds and Destiny is only 4 pounds, it is so funny watching Destiny jump up to play with Daisy. Daisy has even learned to lay down and play with them because she is alot taller then them and can't reach her otherwise. She also learned to watch where she steps to make sure she does not step on them. She is just a big gentle baby. Like I said, the only thing we have to watch for is when they are running. |
