Go to
User CP on the left of the Navigation bar. Click on
Edit Options. Scroll down to
Default Thread Subscription Mode. Click on the drop-down list and choose "
No Email Notification" and that should do it!
I remember when I had that enabled, boy. My mailbox would be full if I missed a day of checking it!
