So I have been off work since last Thursday (my mama was visiting). I teach an 8am class on Wednesday mornings so I had collected everything I needed on my desk last week so all I had to do this morning was walk in and get it (teaching notes, overheads, assignment handouts). I walk in this morning at 7:15 to get my things and one of my colleagues who teaches the same course is freaking out and telling me (in a very panicked way) that the assignment totally changed and I had to make new handouts and everything.
I'm pretty adaptable so I'm going with the flow and getting it all ready but couldn't help but think:
1. Why didn't anyone respond to the email I sent yesterday asking if there were changes?
2. Why didn't anyone call me?
3. Why didn't anyone make me new copies?
If I knew someone was out and taught an 8am class I would have done that out of courtesy. I really am unhappy here and I'm not in a good mood anyway b/c I miss my mom already. grrrrrrrrrr..........
All fingers and paws crossed please that I get a new job away from here soon
