Scruffles’ best friend is Yoda, a female Rottweiler who lives in my townhome complex. They play together and Scruffles jumps all over her and gives her kisses. Yoday is an old girl and very gentle.
Otherwise, we get no respect. I see so many people in my community with the meanest labs I’ve every seen and they bark and snarl at Scruffles out their window. Maybe this is because their owners keep them locked up all day and barely walk them!!! I was minding my own business while walking Scruffles one day. I saw a lady across the street walking her yellow lab, so I said hello. I was just trying to be neighborly. Instead of saying hello back, in a snotty tone she stated that her lab does not like little ones and she walked away. No hello to me or anything else. This rubbed me the wrong way. |
