All of the above. Seriously, though I find that if I work into the coat after bathing and drying it works for me. It protects coat that is not ready for wrapping. I've tried it as a rinse and it just adds to the drying time.....I guess I'm just in hurry. I don't work it into the skin, just into the coat, you don't need much. I've never diluted it down, except when I've tried it as a final rinse.
