Punkin came to live with us at 8 months old. SHe weighed 8.8 pounds then. She is now almost 18 months old and weighs 8.4 pounds. She has gown a bit longer, but that's it The vet is very happy with her current weight. SHe says a leaner dog is a healthier dog and that she should NOT weigh
anymore than 9 pounds for her frame. We weigh her every few weeks to make sure she is not getting too many treats and not enough exercise.
