Shana,
I wouldn't throw it out. If you look at the ingredients they don't really require refrigeration. I am sure it is just to prolong the life of the product. Since I buy the big bag, I freeze half to keep it even fresher.

Well Im using the bag on all 3 of my girls food so with a 90 lb boxer, Im going through the bag pretty quickly and I think it should defiently be okay then
