Archie had a stitch that was working its way out of him too. I took him to the vet and she said it was nothing to worry about it takes time for the stitches to absorb.
If you think it is infected tho get her in to see the vet. It shouldn't cost you anything to have them look at it. If you have any doubts, take her.
