OK, did you check out that post I did about 2 months back regarding my Gracie? Well, Let me tell you, I was in a total panic that day. I was concerned the Chi was going to mess up her bloodline, I was scared of all sort of stuff, well so Im telling you I just called about 11 different vets. And went to through details w/ each lady I spoke w/ that day. One vet, only one reccomended the shot! That was the vet they "USED" to go to. The others said, "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!" This shot is not FDA approved, and she can still have the babies, and on top of that, they can be deformed, More important..... It can kill my Gracie Lou or cause harmful side effects. (Its a slim chance) , But w/out it even being FDA approved, I was not going to take that chance at all!! So I let Nature be the way Nature is... I was patient, she is not pregnant, most of the vets I spoke w/ advised since it was her and Harleys first time for the both of them, there is a much bigger chance she very well could not be pregnant, and if she was, then she maybe would just have a couple. And NO!!!!!! It will not mess her bloodline up, AND YES!!!!! She can have babies w/ Bailey and be paper certified and all. So as long as My Gracie will be fine, that was all I was worried about. I hope this eases some stress... ( next time she goes into heat, I plan on Bailey having his lil lady all to himself...lol ) Let me know how things go.
