God has your your precious Tinkerbell and your Lab in his forever loving care. I know from reading your post that through your faith God will provide you with strength to get through this sad, sad time in your lifes. I am glad Travis put in his request for a little boy Golden Retriever, that is something for you all to look forward to. Try to concentrate on the new addition to come forth at Thanksgiving, our precious pets all have too short a life with us, how we wish they could live forever by our side, God gives them to us on loan just as each of us are but then it is so wonderful to know our forever and forever home is with him and all our loved ones. Baby Blessing has really helped us to cope better over our loss of Cassie, I think it is good to be getting the little golden retreiver, Travis.

Memorial Poem For All Our Precious Pets

This is dedicated in honor and memory of all our precious pets.
Bless the house I lived in Lord, the one that I called home
the people there who really cared, they were a family all my own.
Bless all the children who snuggled me to sleep
Gently said their prayers- thanking God their soul to keep.
Bless their Mother and her many tasks undone
To take the time to hug, romp, play with me and run.
Bless my earthly Father for all the love he shows, to his family plus me
Oh how Blessed, to live in a home such as you have provided it to be.
How I loved my family and forever grateful I will be
They set a fine example of love for all the world to see.
I only ask one favor Lord, please guide my family on their way
Let them Remember the happy times, lest I could not stay.
Thank you Lord for preparing this beautiful heaven for eternity
One day my family and I will abide here, forever with thee.
Ones blind implicit faith in you is matched only by your love
The kind that all of us should have, in the spirit of above.
When our life goes on beyond to join our other loved ones there
Let us each rejoice together united in prayer.
Thank you God for all you did to set our souls free

Cassie would have been 11 years tomorrow this is her first
birthday in her forever eternal home. In writing this
poem I hoped it would give some comfort to those that know the pain of giving one back to the Lord for his keeping. What a gift they are to us, they as each of us are only on loan to one another in this lifetime. My prayer is for God to hold each of us in his loving arms and comfort us through whatever we must endure |
