Retirement is a bit scary, but the thought of being able to do whatever comes my way that I enjoy thrills me. I'm also so glad to have my lttle dog by my side. He's a sweet little boy and the perfect retirement buddy. He's also so happy when I'm home with him. Of course, I don't plan on us being home a lot. I'm a very young 59 and plan to be out and about with Max tagging along to wherever they let me
bring him.
Just wanted to share my excitement with you guys.

Congratulations on your retirement. You will find plenty to keep you busy, I'm sure. Max alone can fill lots of hours. I took early retirement 2 yrs ago and highly recommend it. I got Little Bit since retirement & she will take all the time I can give her.
I hope that you and your daughter will be able to agree to disagree on her husband and cherish your relationship with each other. Who knows, grandchildren may be next on your agenda. Your opinion of him may even be altered if he is a good father to your grandchildren and loves the same people you love.
