I would carefully examine the paw with a magnifying glass if you have one to look for any injuries.
Soaking the paw in epsom salt and water would be good if its just a sprain.
If you think it could be a spider, ant, bee bite I would make a paste out of baking soda and cold water; or meat tenderizer and water; or a wet tea bag (black tea is best) to draw out and neutralize any poisons. You could also give children's liquid benadryl - up to 2mg per pound every 8 hours. |
