I wish this was a practice that we could do away with. My puppy also has her tail docked and I passed up a pup that was not docked so I feel very hypocritical saying this. I just feel like it is an unnecessary trauma to put the pups through and there is no real benefit other than cosmetic (what we expect them to look like).
I actually feel sorry for the breeders that have to have this done. I know it must be very traumatic for them.
I guess we need some humane society to push for laws against tail docking.
