I'm so glad to hear that you got out of an abusive relationship, however I am very sorry to hear that you lost your baby Baxter in the process...that is sooo sad
But better news is that you are getting a new little one!
I have a Doxie as well (mines a Mini though, she is 3 years old) and she is WONDERFUL with Stedman (my Yorkie boy). They play like you would not even imagine! They totally LOVE each other! She has been wonderful with him since the day we brought him home. Sometimes they play a little rough (ONLY playing though) but it's always STEDMAN who initiates it, NOT Pippi (my Mini Doxie) lol
I think your Doxie and your new baby will do just fine! Please be sure and post some pics when she arrives! I can only imagine how excited you are!! Congratulations on the new addition!!!
