 Just brought a 2nd yorkie home.
We have now been home for a week with a new little girl to be a sister to Caesar. Caesar is almost 2 1/2 (rescued him April 29th) and Lacy is 3 1/2.
Caesar is certainly trying to make sure she knows he is the alpha. They have played a little, but not much. Lacy would love to romp, but Caesar is kind of watching and pouting until he figures out if this is going to be a permanent arrangement. We honestly believe they will be just fine, but it will certainly take awhile. You need to be patient and continue to cuddle and play with both little dogs. They are worth the energy and it will work out. At least I hope so! |
