Oh that is so funny! Standing on your head? And putting the toys BACK into the puzzle! I'm impressed by you both!
I try to find battery operated toys. Not to fond of those yapper balls after listening to the wave files. (But that may be something to buy when I'm gone and don't have to listen to them, haha)
We have this Bumble Ball from the drugstore marketed towards toddlers that was $8 cheaper than the one at PetWhatever marketed towards dogs.
Bodhi goes nuts over this!
The only thing is that it vibrates and when Bodhi gets a good grip on it, HE vibrates! Thinking this can't be good for his little brain cells, I just hold it, turn it on for a few seconds. Turn it off and let him growl and chew on it.
I do have to watch how much he chews on the part that starts it. He hasn't learned to push it in, but he could bite it off and swallow the piece.
I'm thinking of inserting it in one of his old cushions, so that I can leave it running. That should buffer things and still maintain his interest.
I'll be trying the Giggle Ball when I house/dogsit soon. They're dogs never seemed to have been interested in it.
OH! There's also the laser pens now that project a bug. I think these are safer than the regular ones because when the dog gets smart and starts looking for the source, he can't accidently look at the laser and get eye damage. Also! You don't have to do anything. Just lead the dog around with the projection. Let HIM get tired! Tee hee!
I'd love to know of a remote-control-chew-proof toy. |
