Buddy is one of the "Top 5 Cutest!" Aw you guys are super sweet - I hope other people can make the auditions!
We had a GREAT time at the audition - they held it at this great facility that had a wonderful grassy area that the dogs could play on in between.
We made it to the first cut down to 10 dogs - and then TOTALLY to my surprise we made it to the top 5!! So we will be in the whole show (each audition is a full show - so there will be 10 and then the final competition).
BUT - another ADORABLE Yorkie named Gizmo whose mom lives up in Rohnert Park won cutest puppy in san francisco! And genuinely, he was the cutest - at 5 months old he was a fuzzy little muffin and anyone could pick him up and he would totally love them - he was playful and just adorable, so I was very happy that he won!
The two runners-up were a Golden mix that was a rescue - and adorable and sweet - and there was another dog Rocky who was a Bichon/Poodle mix who was very sweet and playful.
Buddy did GREAT though! He had so much fun, he did his tricks and even "Bang Bang!" (played dead) which I just taught him 2 nights before! He high-fived with one of the judges so he should really look great on TV! He played with toys in front of the judges - the cameras didn't faze him at all!
We had to do a ton of interviews after each elimination so it was tiring but lots of fun. Both of us totally passed out last night. It's tough to be a star! Hee heee!
I love my Buddy so much and I'm so proud of him! I will keep bumping this up at each audition and hopefully more Yorkies will win! There were actually 4 Yorkies entered at first, but Buddy and Gizmo were the only ones who made it. The other 2 were very very teeny! Also a teeny little teacup chihuahua didn't make it.
ANyway, sorry to go on and on - but it was lots of fun! OH - and I have these little "Doggles" for him, and everyone went absolutely nuts when I put them on him - he was so cute and he totally left them on! |
