Unlove Puppy Killer

Artie will not go around small children, but he loves Teenagers, he refuses to be held or picked-up by them, but he will sit on their laps once he feels comfortable & secure. He is very sensitive to their Energy and how excited they get and can be very rough in the way that they handle or carry him.
Abigail on the other hand loves children of all ages, her Breeder has plenty of grandchildren around all the time. I got Abigail from her first Litter and she was the first born, the largest and most Dominant Puppy so she was pretty strong and sturdy! She just had a second Litter of 3 puppies, 1 was promised to her Babysitter as a "Gift" for Babysitting her hyper active grandaughter, 1 was promised to the Sire's Breeder for Stud Fees, and the last was to be sold as a profit? Well @ about 3-4 weeks her hyper active un-controllable grandaughter dropped a puppy on the cement floor and passed away on impact! We were all surprised and upset, she eventually had to buy back her puppy from the other Breeder for $800.00, and sold him for $1,000.00 net profit of $200.00. Not to mention the Vet. bills!
"Breeding" is not what it's Pumped up to be.....you have to put them first and foremost, if she only had the Heart to discilpline her granddaughter?
So Pre-"Socializing" your Litter of puppies to be able to handle children is a catch 22 situation, it has it's benefits & downfalls too! You can't fault Yorkie's for being too small & fragile? That is what the Breeder's are Breeding for; Tiny, miniature living & breathing "Toys". That is why Breeders try to ask as many questions as possible so they can place the right Puppy with the right Family or Individual?
