I'm not sure if this was answered in the AKC vs. ACA thread, but I'll reanswer it if it has. If your dog is registared APR you can not get it dual registared with AKC; however, if your dog is registared AKC you can get it dual registared with APR. Some people are very strong on their thoughts about different registaries. However, if you love your dog that is all that matters, especially since you are not breeding him. Roxi is reg APR and she looks more "Yorkie" than a lot of Yorkies I've seen that are registared AKC. There are good and bads of all registaries. And there are good quality and poor quality dogs in all registaries.
