I'm sure you'll get plenty of pointers here. What I learned from here, is to confine them in a much smaller area, with a pee pad. X-pens are great, but if you have climbers, you have to watch and say "NO" when they climb. And still, when you walk out of the room, they will climb out anyway.

I put down 2 pee pads in my kitchen, and Venus is confined to the kitchen only. Pee pads need to be away from bedding and food. Might have to tape them to the floor, to keep them from playing on or with them also. I use that, and also try taking both of mine out every hour or 2.

I didn't like the idea of pee pads, but hated moping and cleaning floors worse!

I also read every thread on house breaking in this forum I could find! The search engine is great, and is on the bar below your "welcome name".

Something else I did was when I took Venus out I learned from here. As soon as she'd potty, I'd praise, praise, praise, and give her a treat! Now that works like a charm and they figure it out fast! I keep a baggie of dry food for treats in my pocket at all times.
