Yorkies are good with children but they are so small they could easily be hurt by a child. That is why some breeders wont let you adopt if you have a child. I waited untill my daughter was 5 to adopt one. She is still not allowed to carry them around. Chachi is 10 lbs and very hearty play mate for my daughter. I think people with kids should at least adopt a yorkie that is going to be on the larger side Jewels is 6 lbs and she doesnt like my daughter to even hold her |
