Belly bands aren't meant to be worn for long periods of time. Your pup could pee in them several times, be left being wet, and I think this could even eventually irritate his skin and cause a rash.

My pup (one year old) wears belly bands in the evenings - and I keep an eye on him and change them immediately if they are the slightest bit damp.

When I work four days a week and am gone for 6 hours or so - he is confined to the kitchen/laundry room area and never pees while I'm gone. He also never pees all night - once he has settled down for the night.

It's really only when he has free run of the house in the evenings that he thinks he can pee wherever he wants. If I get him out even two hours or so - he would never wet in the house - but I work evenings in my office - and when it gets later, I just put a belly band on him so I don't have to worry.

Good luck! Carol Jean
