We leave Aria in her room (old laundry room) and we use a baby gate as well. She learned how to climb it so my boyfriend screwed a big piece of plexiglass over the entire front of it. So now when she jumps on it she has nothing to hold on to to pull herself up and over, she is also still able to see through it....it's worked great for a year now.
