When my son was small my parents had an old english sheepdog..Dylan would climb him, sleep on him etc..Brit (the dog) had the patience of a saint and pretended not to notice lol...I cant imagine having a toddler with one of my yorkies..even at the petstore I hold my dogs so the little ones can pet them because instantly they want to pick them up and squeeze them..must be instinctive lol...its alot of work but it can be done (having both i mean) but there are risks to both child and dog and both must be watched very closely at all times and never be left alone together..
