I am new this message board and am glad to give you my opinion of Wilmington. We live in Raleigh (the state capitol) and we go to Wrightsville beach as much as we can. We just love the area, the city is very historic and very beautiful, it sits on the banks of the Cape Fear river. We relocated from Ohio 9 yrs. ago and if we had known more about the area we would have definatley settled in Wilmington. The beaches are beautiful, lots of great restaurants, it also is a college town. As far as I am concerned there is no prettier city around (well maybe Charleston)
