Tinies do cost more but that's because there aren't as many of them and they tend to need more care.
Mine was $1500 plus $180 to fly her. I almost bought another tiny for $2200 that was guaranteed to stay under 2.5 pounds but I think it's nice just to have one little girl to take everywhere with me. I couldn't do that with 2. Honestly, I think it's worth whatever you can afford to get what you want.
A pet that lives 15 years or so is definately worth that much to me. People pay ungodly amounts for horses and no one bats an eye about that. I don't want a pet I can ride, I want one that can go places with me and that's exactly what I have.
